Julio Molina is a composer/sound artist based in Granada (Spain). He works on acousmatic compositions, sound installations, live electronics and soundtracks. Field recordings, stochastic processes, story telling and some surrealism is all mixed in his compositions which oscillate from sound art to electronic music.
He holds a Bachelor from the Institute of Sonology at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, where he studied with composers such as Trevor Wishart, Nicolas Collins, Kees Tazelaar and Bjarni Gunnarsson.
He also plays banjo.
